by full time we were glad of the 3 pts after many missed chances, wee mcd
put us 1 up after 40 mins with a smart lob finish from good play from hillen.losty in
nets made a great save b4 the interval ,we had played ok but the narrow pitch,leaves and sunlight
made us miss chances and not create more! 0 v 0 at half time.
oran o'connor was in nets for the 2nd period and watched us miss chances ; aidanbannon and robbie!!
it was coming near the end o'connor twice was brave and made good stops .

as und 12s we had lost quite heavily to them last season so on that basis well
done lads. we took the lead thru an excellent jig an shot in the box from robbie!so close to 2 nil when healy
missed from 7 yds so close.they scored with a ball put thru our centre halves
and a toe poke into the corner.half time 1 v 1.
strange refereeing was part of the 2nd half as a penalty was given against us that aquinas
were shocked at.other decisions also were baffling, however we got some luck as robbie
turned in the box an wee mcd got the last touch with their keeper 2 v 1.
a little disapointed that we then got a little nervy an gave away possession cheaply.
they hit the bar with a 23 yd free an finally 4 mins from time a free header crashed in
under the bar . 2 v 2. an excellent game with a good crowd of parents well entertained.
