Under 11’s NIBFA Cup 4th Round Tie against Rosario – St Marys win and make thru to the last 8

St Mary's faced their toughest opposition yet in the NIBFA Cup against a very strong and determined Rosario. St Mary's scored after 15 min's when the Rosario keeper spilled a stinger shot from Gareth Morgan in Mid Field and the ever willing Odhran Eastwood quickly followed up to knock the ball into an empty net.
Rosario pilled the pressure on to get an equaliser but the ever strong St Mary's defence wouldn't give in. Conor Morgan playing centre back played a strong game and linked well with the mid field to build a platform for may counter attacks that lead to numerous 1 on 1 attempts on goal for St Mary's.
All the players for St Mary's gave 110% in this game but special mention should go to the back line Brendan Morgan, Ruairi Morgan, Conor Morgan, Jack Deazley, Adam Turner and Niall Magee all ensured St Mary's kept a clean sheet.
This win means St Mary's Under 11's have made it thru to the last 8 in the NIBFA Cup for the 2nd year in a row. Well done to all the kids, parents and helpers for there commitment to the team.
