Another slow start cost us dear, 20 minutes gone and 3 nil down. Allowing the Ballymena lads too much time at crucial times and they took full advantage, though their first goal was a cross come shot that gave our keeper no chance.
However having got to grips with the game we had good play and near things before the break, also they were guilty of two heavy challenges on Ruiari and Paddy McD.
Our new player Patrick McGreavy came out of goals in the 2nd half and within 5 mins had scored from 30+ yards wow!!!!!. The St Mary's boys now dominated with no more reward of goals. McD, Robb, McGreavy, O'Kelly and McFall all had shots in good areas. Ruiari D had a couple of 20+ yarders as well.
Carniny occasionally on the break had menace and a fine save by Oran O'Connor at the end kept the score respectable.
