St Mary’s U12’s Match Report 24th Nov against Newbridge - draw 3 - 3
A decent day weather wise and the pitch was ok considering the rain on Friday night / Saturday morning. Am avoiding the game because we were 3 goals down after 40 minutes. Even against the league bottom team we gave an early Christmas present away……3 of them in the form of goals!
Having had all the play, missed chances, sliced shots and delaying in their penalty area when decisive play would surely have got its reward; we got 3 goals back through Paddy McD with two, and Paddy Robb. At 3v3 we should have got a winner and even at the end a Gregory McFaul corner was met by Kevin and he crashed his header off the bar. That was that and the final whistle sounded.
