St Mary’s U12’s Match Report 27 October 2007 Against Cliftonville
St Mary's 1 - Cliftonville 3
Local derby ended in a big frustration for all under 12 players managers and supporters. A great effort by the whole team that saw the Reds on the back foot for long spells. A dodgy penalty award, a second goal that should have been defended, and a break away third goal.
St Mary's boys and girl passed and used the wide space of the third generation pitch well. Summarising our efforts we possibly could have had two penalties. Patrick McD scored from good play from Conor Morgan, should have scored another when he burst through .The loss of Mark Tutin and Gregory McFall for the game was decisive in that we didn't convey enough threat at times. A great effort by the U 12's a moral victory against the local rivals.
Team: Oran, Fintan, Bronagh, Conor Morgan, Kevin, Patrick McD (Captain), Ruairi, (R Captain) Patrick Robb, Aidan, Gareth Morgan, Declan.
Subs Conor Bond, Ph Doherty M Reynolds. (On second half)
Man of the Match Patrick Robb
